APPEL À CANDIDATURES ARTISTES VISUELS et VIVANTS (dance et théâtre)
Voici l'appel pour la quatrième édition de Caravane Tighmert.
Les candidats qui veuillent participer à la quatrième édition de Caravane Tighmert devront envoyer un mail avec l'information suivante à caravanetighmert@gmail.com:
1 un lien (site web, page Facebook, blog...) ou bien quelques images représentatives de votre travail.
2 un petit texte (pas un projet artistique) explicatif sur votre interêt pour ce festival, ainsi que les sujets sur lesquels porteront vos recherches.
Pour éviter des malentendus:
- si jamais vous ne recevez pas un récépissé après l'envoie de votre mail à caravanetighmert@gmail.com cela veut dire que nous ne l'avons pas reçu et vous devriez l'envoyer à nouveau.
- il y a des artistes qui ont été invités directement (parce qu'ils développent déjà une recherche sur l'oasis), mais nous avons laissé quelques places pour donner l'opportunité à d'autres artistes d'y participer.
- la date limite pour envoyer l'information sera le 28 février à minuit (heure marocaine). Le 5 mars vous recevrez un mail pour vous communiquer si vous avez été retenu ou pas.
- Caravane Tighmert donne la possibilité de mener des ateliers avec les habitants de l'oasis (enfants, jeunes, adultes...), de produire une œuvre avec les matériaux trouvés sur place ou bien de faire des recherches sur des sujets liés à la culture du désert. Attention, il s'agit pas de faire une exposition sinon de partager des réflexions, des expériences, des inquiétudes... autour de la culture dans des endroits aussi particuliers comme celui de l'oasis de Tighmert. Caravane Tighmert est un laboratoire de création contemporaine et non pas une salle d'exposition.
- l'organisation logera et nourrira les artistes chez l'habitant, mais elle ne payera pas ni les frais de transport jusqu'à Tighmert, ni la production des œuvres, ni donnera de l'argent de poche.

atelier inba tetouant 2018 /
This year I will work again with the students of the Art School of Tetouan (Morocco). The workshop will take place from the 1st to the 16th February. We will work on a 20 meters high art installation in a small street of the medina (UNESCO World Heritage Site). We will discuss, and learn, about art in public spaces, heritage as a source for contemporary art, scale and construction systems, representation...

Next week-end we will talk about colonialism héritage in Moroccan cities. Exhibitions, round tables and tour guide in Fez (Morocco). I will specifically speak about the city of Tetouan and what we can learn from that process, in order to do not make the same mistakes in contemporary Moroccan cities.

La semana que viene hablaremos de las caravanas del desierto del Sáhara, de su importancia a lo largo de la historia (para África y para Europa), del estado actual de las rutas caravaneras y de los nómadas que aún las recorren, del futuro de estas vías de comunicación (tanto materiales como inmateriales)...
Será el viernes 12 de enero a las 17h30, en el aula nº10 del campus de la Universidad de Granada en Ceuta, dentro del programa del Aula Permanente de Formación Abierta. El acceso será libre.

In the framework of Kibrit final event, we showed a work in progress exhibition on Beyond Qafila Thania, with some sketches and pictures, as well as a sound installation, by Amado Alfadni, M'barek Bouhchichi, Pau Cata, Carlos Perez and Heidi Vogels. It was at Le 18 in Marrakech.

El próximo jueves 30, a las 19h, hablaremos del Plan General de Ordenación Urbana de Ceuta en la Biblioteca Publica de Ceuta, dentro de las "Jornadas sobre la economía de Ceuta, presente y futuro" organizadas por el Instituto De Estudios Ceutíes.
Intentaremos hacer pedagogía sobre la importancia de este documento para el futuro de Ceuta y de cómo una no-revisión o un planeamiento mediocre pueden llevar a la decadencia y a la ruina a toda una ciudad (Gobierno de Ceuta).

This round table, co-organised by Le 18, CeRCCa and Marsad Drâa as part of the Kibrit programme, aims at crossing perspectives and experiences between Qanat and Beyond Qafila Thania, a research project focused on the space of the desert and a caravan residency initiative in southern Morocco, initiated by Platform HARAKAT.
The round table took place at Le 18, in the framework of Qanat, one of the Kibrit’s projects.

Abandoned water tank and a dam built during the Almohad dynasty (12th century) in Sidi Bou Othmane, near Marrakech. Amazing space and incredible construction made in rammed earth.
zawya sidi salah /
The only place we could visit in the Ktaoua palm grove (it was a matter of time), was the zawya of Sidi Saleh, maybe the one which is best preserved and most populated.
amezrou /
I really wanted my friends to visit the ksar of Amezrou in Zagora, the first I studied with my students of the Architecture School of Tetouan in 2013. We also had the chance to meet Antoine Bouillon, a French sociologist living near the ksar, thanks to whom I have learnt a lot of things related to the history of the region. We observed the restauration works (finally), in clouding the synagogue.

Another ksar, that gives the name to one of the 6 palm groves of the Drâa valley, is Tinzouline, which has a kasbah with a fantastic courtyard, opposing the idea of rammed earth construction to heaviness.
